The Tour de Siblu 2013 has started!

The Tour de Siblu has kicked off to a great start!

This weekend was the first leg of the 2013 Siblu Tour in Charente Maritime. Teams and guests of Bonne Anse Plage, Les Charmettes and La Pignade have already raised 2000€ (approx. £1 710) against only 1700€ (approx. £1 454) at the same stage last year.

Congratulations to all participants and a huge thank you to everyone.

A little History of the Tour de Siblu

Although this year, Siblu wishes to give a new dimension to the project, the Siblu Tour is nothing new.

It all started in 2011, as an initiative of Chris Dunscombe who has been working for siblu for over four years. The first edition of the Tour which kicked off in Spring 2011 raised 8000€ (approx. £6 850) for research against Cancer.

The first ever start of the Tour, in 2011.

The first ever start of the Tour, in 2011.

The year after that, Chris geared up and got on his bike for good cause again. That year, the Tour was an even better success as he raised 13 000€ (approx. £11 120) for Cancer research.

This year, we’re aiming to raise a whopping 20 000€ (approx. £17 110) and we’re really upping our game and doing our very best for this worthy cause! But we can’t achieve this without you. Please support us by giving for Cancer research.
